TUMBLR, holy fuck. upgrade your server.  this is the slowest site i visit and it’s getting to the point were I am going to cancel my accounts because this website is now just a huge waste of time.  I don’t need to wait 5 minutes for you to catch up to scroll down my feed one page,  I can do the same thing on google in .00035 minutes. 

Also, your apps suck worse than your website.  Your programmers should save face and kill themselves. 

All over Europe studies have shown that diacetylmorphine (pharmaceutical grade heroin) injected 3x/day with the dose lowered over time to taper the symptoms of withdrawal, the goal being abstinence of opiates, is more effective than any current treatment the US offers…  I have been saying for a while they should do it this way. It just makes sense!  Why give me methadone for a few months to stabilize me and then taper me off that when you could give me three doses of  diacetylmorphine (of which I know how much is needed and am already acclimated to the effects of) and lower that dose over time.  Also, with the much shorter half life of diacetylmorphine (12hrs as opposed to methadone’s 36hrs) finishing my taper regimen wouldn’t cause as many physical withdrawal symptoms for as long. 

Canada is doing a study on it right now as well.  But in theirs you take injected heroin3x/daily and methadone as desired.  The dose of the IV diacetylmorphine is determined by a doctor.

UPDATE:  the study is long done. and it showed that treatment with diacetylmorphine and methadone as needed was almost twice as successful as just methadone alone.  too bad america has there collective heads up their collective asses.
